A very special lp from the first version of FLEETWOOD MAC featuring the legendary PETER GREEN on guitar with Danny Kirwan.
The original bluesman there at the famous CHESS STUDIOS regarded their young white British followers with little less respect at the start, even though they knew that the guys normally paying tribute were very enthusiastic - and indeed very capable blues musicians!
As these sessions got under way the boyish nervousness of the English chaps gave way to competent playing, not least from the 3 guitar players in the group.
Jeremy Spencer was actually an adept slide player, and Danny Kirwan had excellent feeling in his playing. Peter Green was of course outstanding, and despite his modesty he was wonderful at expressing feeling, as good as anyone in music!
These songs sound great, and on
solid almost spotless discs!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades NEAR MINT.
BEAUTIFUL discs with TOP shine!
Labels are NEAR MINT.
Very little in the way of spindle marks or signs of handling.
The GATEFOLD Cover grades EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT.
