I appeared alongside Fleetwood Mac in 1968 and saw this incredible line up. Back in the day they were playing pure blues music with little or no rock and were “Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac”. This is their first LP affectionately named “Dog and Dustbin” on the Blue Horizon label and in Mono.
The record has a few light marks, so crackle is audible and cleaned on my vinyl machine it plays very well and the music cuts through fine. The sleeve is very good with just creases to the opening edge. There’s no rips, splits or writing. Has original record shop label on the back.
The line up is: Peter Green – Guitar,Vocals,Harmonica / Jeremy Spencer – Slide Guitar, Vocals, Piano / John McVie – Bass / Mick Fleetwood – Drums / Bob Brunning – Bass on ‘Long Grey Mare’ // Produced by Mike Vernon
