Description

This first album by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac on the original Blue Horizon label is a first pressing on 115gm vinyl. It is a bit of an oddity in that the matrix numbers are S7-63200 A1 and B1 (stereo) but the labels are marked 7-63200 (mono) and the sleeve has no STEREO sticker. The disc itself still has a high gloss. It has one or two light surface marks on side 1 and about half a dozen on side 2, most of these being paper scuffs. (Please see photographs for a better idea of record quality). There is hardly any spindle marking on the labels and no hole wear.

The original paper inner sleeve is in very good condition.

The outer sleeve by Ernest J Day is laminated on the front only and is in very good condition with no ringwear on the front and minor on the rear. The laminate has about 5 small crease marks and the open edge of the sleeve is slightly worn. The spine is not laminated and is slightly worn such that one or two letters are not visible.

I bought the album from new and it has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp in virtually dust free conditions since then. I would guess it was probably played around fifty times around that period and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.

Sound quality is excellent for its age.

The LP will be sent in a strong brown LP mailer with stiffener. If you require insurance please contact me.
