The Five Shits were really The Lytations, a group from Ardmore, PA just outside of Philadelphia. These tracks were recorded around 1962 at around the same time they also recorded two sides for Times Square Records. They also recorded as the Lytations, Five Scripts, Zeppers, Contenders, Kaptions and even had one record where the label showed the artist as The Beatles. The Five Shits and Beatles records were great doo wop songs which came out in the seventies. The Lytations name came from a combination of two of their favorite groups the Ly-Dells and the Quotations. The label was a satire of the Lost-Nite label design. The producers, arrangers and other names on the label are inside jokes listing the names of several record dealers around in the 1970's in addition to the well known celebrities and organizations.  Many thanks for this info goes to Jack Strong who sang lead on all of their records under the various group names.

MY BUSINESS POLICIES

I offer quality products at fair prices.

Customers are absolutely the most important people in any business.

Customers are not even slightly dependent on me.  I am totally dependent on them.

Customers are not an interruption of my work They the ONLY purpose of it.

Customers are people who come to me with their wants or needs.  It is my job to fulfill them.

Customers are a part of my business, not outsiders.  They have choices of who they do business with.  I am not doing them a favor by waiting on them.  They are doing me a favor by choosing me.  I am very lucky that they are giving me a chance.  It is my job to make them happy that they did choose me.

Customers are not just money in the register.  They are human beings with thoughts and feelings just as I am.  I will treat them in the same manner that I wish to be treated.

Customers deserve the most courteous and detailed attention that I can give to them.  They are the life blood of any business.  Without customers there is no business.

Whether a customer returns to me is determined by the quality of both the product and service that I provide to them.  If they are happy with me, they may come back.  If they are unhappy with me, they most certainly will not return.

It may take days, weeks, months or even years to find a loyal customer.  It takes only seconds to lose one.

Honesty and integrity will determine the strength of any business.  Anything less is self defeating.

The day that I forget any of this becomes the day that I have no business.
