Fish : Suits 1st Press 1994 (Signed)
For this auction I am selling a number of Fish/Marillion records and the vast majority of them have been incredibly well preserved. I am moving house soon and I want to 'shift' a lot of my stock quickly so unfortunately do not have the time to describe each track in detail as I generally do. Rest assured I will still play every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grading. I will adhere to my usual standards :-)
This very collectable first pressing has been signed by the big man himself on the front cover and I can confirm the audio plays to a superb standard for the vast majority.

The audio on S1 is Near Mint (T2 fade out VG)
The audio on S2 is Near Mint (T1 mainly Near Mint but VG in a couple of brief sections)

The audio on S4 is Mint(-) (T4 end section Near Mint-)
The cover is VG+
The lyric sheet is Mint
The inner sleeves are Ex+
The labels are Mint-
Visual grading
The vinyls are visually in lovely condition with barely any spindle wear. There are only a small number of very faint sleeve removal hairlines, a handful of faint 'specks' on S1 and a couple of very faint tiny marks on S2 that have no impact on the audio.
Play Grading
There is a minimal amount of light static on 3/4 intros and fade outs but the clarity and depth of the audio is very impressive overall. S1 plays with stunning quality and only 'Lady Let It Lie' has a small number of dull sounds at the end of the fade out. S2 is very similar although 'Fortunes Of War' has 3/4 swish type clicks on the intro, a couple of light clicks on one of the instrumental sections and some crackle on the fade out. There is one background click on 'Somebody Special' but the rest is faultless.
S3 is more or less perfect with just some light static on the 'Pipeline' intro and S4 plays with remarkable clarity throughout with only a couple of minor ticks, not clicks! The classic 'Raw Meat' is superb!
The 'Signed' Cover & Inners
The signed cover has a little shelf wear but there is certainly nothing that stands out. Just some minor corner wear and a little creasing bottom right. It is very clean with no marking and the lyric inner is in fantastic condition with no wear. The original paper inners have only some light creasing.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable // B & W 684 Speakers
The records have been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
