Fish : Internal Exile A1 / B1 1st Press 1991 (Signed)

For this auction I am selling a number of Fish/Marillion records and the vast majority of them have been incredibly well preserved.  I am moving house soon and I want to 'shift' a lot of my stock quickly so unfortunately do not have the time to describe each track in detail as I generally do.  Rest assured I will still play every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grading.  I will adhere to my usual standards :-)

This is another first pressing that has been signed by Fish and the audio is absolutely STUNNING on both sides!  I would not be surprised if this record had never been played such is the quality.

Visual grading

The vinyl is in beautiful condition with no spindle wear.  It has an immaculate glossy sheen with no marks or scratches and I cannot detect any hairlines either.  There is even a little vinyl 'flecking' around the S1 spindle hole.  A stunning vinyl!

Play Grading

S1 plays with audio that can hardly be faulted.  The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is very impressive and there is barely any intrusion.  'Shadowplay' has only minimal static on the intro and a couple of static ticks during the quieter mid section.  This is what you find on new vinyl let alone one that is over 30 years old!  The remaining tracks are 'as new' with no sign of any interference.  Stunning!

S2 if anything is even better and from start to finish plays with a sonic quality that is second to none.  The clarity, power and definition of the audio could not be any stronger and as stated I suspect this record has never been played.

The 'Signed' Cover & Lyric Inner

The signed cover has barely any shelf wear and remains in superb condition.  There is just one minor crease on the front bottom right and one faint scratch line on the back.  The cover is incredibly clean as are the edges and there is hardly any corner wear either.  A fine example.  The lyric inner is pristine and does not look to have ever been handled.
