FIRST WURLITZER CONVENTION 78 recorded Invite by Earl Capehart (Vice president of Wurlitzer) Homer Earl Capehart (1897 - 1979) held a variety of jobs, selling milking machines, tractors, plows, and popcorn machines, finally working his way up to sales manager for Holcomb and Hoke Manufacturing Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. He founded the 'Capehart Automatic Phonograph Corporation' in 1927. Trade name Amperion.
In 1932 he joined the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company of North Tonawanda, New York, as vice president and general sales manager, and he bought the Packard Piano Company to manufacture musical instruments. Disc graded VG, several marks, abrasions and scuffs but still quite audible
