CONDITION:
VINYL: The 12” record is in stunning EXCELLENT- CONDITION !! The vinyl is very shiny, superb. Has some hairline marks or sleeve removal marks that do not affect play. Record shines "like a mirror".
SOUND: Record truly sounds terrific ! A high quality German vinyl pressing with an amazing clear and crisp sound. No background noise, except for approx. the first 10 seconds of side 2 (very light background).
LABELS: The labels both are NEAR MINT. No writing, no stains, just great ! Great custom label design reminiscent of the Fireman's first album "Strawberry Oceans Ships Forest". Both labels have the MPL juggler logo (McCartney Productions Limited).
MATRIX: The record has typed matrix no. 12P519 344 and was probably pressed by EMI Germany's Cologne factory.
SLEEVE: comes in a standard white sleeve. No picture sleeve was issued with this release.
A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT "ARIZONA LIGHT MIX":
This record contains 2 songs of the Fireman’s first album called “Strawberry oceans ships forest”. Interestingly, the B-side is designated on the 12” as “Arizona light mix”, while it’s called “Arizona light” on the full album. According to the book “The unknown Paul McCartney” by Ian Peel the title was changed to “Arizona light” just before the album was mastered, so this may be a very early pressing: Ian Peel, page 133:" Even the titles Youth had given them remained, although somewhere between studio and the pressing plant "Arizona Light Mix" became "Arizona light". Ian Peel, Page 134: "We just did it as two 12 inches at first, recalls Youth". This indicates this to be an early 1993 release, possibly pressed prior to the full album ??
