FINNICUM-45-“Come On Over” b/w “On The Road Again”-Ruff Records #45-1011-What can I say? Easily one of the most KILLER=MONSTER 1966 West TEXAS Garage-Punkers EVER…Super RARE-NEVER saw this around even back in 'the day'…Most of you know this from multiple comps-TEXAS FLASHBACK in particular…If not, this is the REAL DEAL-Heavy fuzz riffs abound with the overall structure sounding like a cross between Bo Diddley’s “You Don’t Love Me”, the MC5’s “I Just Don’t Know” and Leo & The Prophets “Tilt-A-Whirl” (thrashing percussion in particular); powerful and arrogant lead vocal with a LOUD fuzz-note riff guitar, a sharp cut/chop rhythm guitar and a Brian Jones early Stones sounding harp wailin' in the mix…really killer stuff…dynamite and stellar-KILLER fuzz lead guitar break. Fades with some Mark Lindsay (from the Raiders) style improv one-liners backed by a barrage of fuzz riffs and wailin’ harp. Was reviewed in NOT FADE AWAY #3. B side is also great-a really primal and badazz version of the Dylan classic…really aloof and Dylanesque vocal, sort of ‘Wooly-Bully” Vox Continental organ playing said rhythm, very Stones-ish, harp throughout with a dynamite harp break. TOP 5 HOLY GRAIL RECORD!! NOTE! This record will most likely NOT surface again for DECADES!


Condition: Record is close to MINT-Minus. Some very slight paper scuffs visible in certain light angles and really looking! Really near perfect copy. Beautiful. Some light background noise on the opening intro of B side.


Label clean both sides.
