Description
Unusual 45 rpm ACETATE/ Test Single from FINE RECORDS, Rochester, NY...."TARRANTELLA ROCK" by the Mel Thomas Trio with Frank Sandy, I assume!...
FINE Records, Rochester NY 45 rpm 7 inch Single record METAL Acetate, hand lettered labels (see photos)... "TARRANTELLA ROCK" b/w "PRISON BLUES"...
Remarkable grungy Saxophone Sides, the 'b' side is especially weird with a moody Vocal and Vocal Group, and the sound of a Hammer hitting steel...I assume that this group is the late 50s band mentioned on the labels....The 'b' side is obviously "PRISION (sic) BLUES"... Cool sides, see the other FINE Legendary Recording Acetate I'm offering this week.... Condition of the labels; VG-, some wear/ soil/ tear/ pull on the 'b' side... Condition of the playing surfaces; VG, light scuffing/ wear/ haze/ imperfect surface... Really unique and somewhat awe-inspiring item! .....
Records are graded per "GOLDMINE" standards: SS= Still Sealed... M= Perfect...NM= Near Perfect...VG+= some wear, slight damage...VG= wear, some damage...G+= considerable wear, damage...Good, Fair. VISA, MC, DISCOVER are all OK. Winning bidder pays 3.50 for First Class Mail or 7.00 for Priority Rate shipping within the U.S.... International shipping is of course available if desired. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. California residents pay 8.375% sales tax.
