FINCHLEY BOYS Everlasting... LP ORIG. '72 PRIVATE PSYCH
FINCHLEY BOYS : Everlasting Tributes LP (Golden Throat [USA] LP S 200-19) 1972.
Record is Excellent with light sleeve scuffs only; cover is Near Mint. No sticker on cover. Nice original 1972 private pressing of this crude heavy blues-psych LP from Illinois, recorded in 1968. There is some controversy about whether or not there was an '80s repress of this: Ron Moore's Underground Sounds website identifies an '83 issue with "a slightly thinner cover and a 1983 copyright date on the label." but the Lama Archives says: "contrary to popular belief, there was no 'indistinguishable repress' by the band in the 1980s. The numerous copies that turned up then was due to a band member finally being able to buy the remaining 500 copies that were held by the manufacturer. All these copies are originals, with or without the sticker." Anyway, the labels on this copy say "(c) 1968 & 1972", so it's an original regardless.
