FESS PARKER & BUDDY EBSON - Songs from DAVY CROCKETT   This WALT DISNEY series was wildly popular in the mid 1950's, especially after the smash hit success of THE DAVY CROCKETT SONG, an inescapable pop sensation of the day.   FESS PARKER and BUDDY EBSEN were the stars of the series, and recorded a number of records for COLUMBIA, both singles and story albums. GEORGE BRUNS wrote the music, and also conducts the orchestra for this 45.   (It's worth noting the remarkable career that BUDDY EBSEN has had, starting out as a stage and movie dancer with his sister Vilma, into drama, almost the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, the phenomenal Jed Clampett of the Beverly Hillbillies, to the long running Barnaby Jones. He died in 2003, then in his nineties. )   This one is fairly hard to find in tip top condition, but it is surprisingly LIKE NEW visually, and plays the same way.
