Description

F.B.I. Self Titled 1976 UK Vinyl LP GDS 802.

Sleeve is in very good condition, Vinyl has some light to medium scratching on both sides, there is a small chip to side 2 which is also visible on side 1, pictured.

He is described as the Godfather of Britfunk and
ROOT JACKSON s 9-piece band F.B.I. (Funky Business
Inc) caused a sensation on the British Funk scene in the
1970s. Regulars at Ronnie Scott s, the band also
supported KOOL & THE GANGand THE TEMPTATIONS
and toured with BEN E. KING.
Their self-titled debut album was originally released in
1976 on Tony Visconti s fledglingGood Earth label.

F.B.I. s rhythmic, soulful sound has drawn comparisons
to the early EARTH, WIND & FIRE and has influenced
generations of British R&B artists including INCOGNITO,
BRAND NEW HEAVIES and SOUL II SOUL.
