Description

Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Fats Domino - Carry On Rockin’. A UK mono 1st pressing, it was issued by London Records in 1956 with the catalogue number HA-P 2041.

Identifiers - The record bears the following 1st pressing marks -
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Stamped - CA ALL-542-1B
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Stamped - CA ALL-543-1B

Vinyl Condition - Very Good - The record is reasonably bright and clean with little in the way of surface marks and there are no worrying scratches. However, soundwise, it’s pretty commensurate with something of this vintage. I’ve listened all the way through I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking but expect the occasional light click. Moderate background crackle/noise is present at times but never excessive. May well clean up well, with a bit of work.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original fully laminated cover with top and bottom flip-back edging to the rear panel. Light signs of corner rubbing present, with a very small split to the bottom outer. There’s a little lifting of the laminate film in places near to the open edges but otherwise a decent bright and clean cover. Additional poly-lined, die cut, inner sleeve, which has a little creasing and might be the original, although I cannot say for certain.
