The experimental soundtrack Library to Abracadabracula, an obscure theatre production by cult female mime duo, Pinok and Matho. Hallucinogenic collages of pop electronique and weird studio FX built around synthesizers / fender rhodes / harpsichord / spinette and piano with twittering jungle birds and exotic creatures / exploding bubbles / manic machines / whispering voices / dub and tape manipulation. All layered together into a year defying, amazing score. The overall mood reminds us of the supernatural and psychedelic vampire films of Jean Rollin with touches of Philippe D'Aram and Pierre Raph / Jean Pierre Massiera / wordless voices a la Alex Serra's Atmosfere Italian Library / Serge Gainsbourg / Bernard Estardy / Jean-Claude Vannier / Michel Magne / French no wave - post punk - improv et al. The futuristic ESCALIERS SANS FIN theme even boasts phased funky drums like early jungle / drum and bass / dub step etc. Lo-fi hip hop beats with underground art rock / indie pop and other compelling sounds on UCCELLI PECCATUM. Spooky synth zaps and disturbing atmospheres to DRACULABYRINTHE. Every track is superb. Gentle to trance-inducing avantgarde / baroque to comedic with a sophisticated, filmic undercurrent. Many loops and samples. Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition with a few hairlines from sleeve removal. Light surface noises. Some faded old pressing residue marks. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The laminated sleeve is in M- condition with minimal wear, if any. A couple of mini crease lines from storage. A couple of tiny nicks to edges. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare OST Lp!!!
