Sensational meeting during mid 70's, between best combo from the Guadeloupe island initiate by trompetist/composer Astasie Philogène. Notice they call it the "Fania Basse Terrienne" to reffer at famous "Fania All Stars" by Johnny Pacheco. You can hear the influence on eponym track "Fania Basse-terrienne". also focus on track "jamais moin pé ké pé" a deep afro "biguine" jazz with mélancolic vocals. The others cuts will enjoy créole music lovers. Extremly hard to find… listen to the soundclip !
