Original UK stereo LP with flipback laminate cover, release date 1968 on the three-coloured ‘steamboat’ Reprise label, catalogue number: RSLP6312 Matrix nos: side1) RSLP6312A-3G side 2) RSLP6312B-3G Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is a laminated flipback, made and printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, England. The condition of the cover is very nearly MINT – there are no creases, tears, rings, writing or stickers, no wear to the edges or spine, and no splaying of the open edge. The only blemish is a wear mark on the rear cover near the bottom edge, which is a series of white marks along the flipback trim – see close-up photo – in total it is less than one-inch long by 1/8th inch wide. NOTE: there is no insert with this album. The spine is in perfect condition as is the print on it. The inner sleeve is white paper. The two labels are almost perfect – just one or two very light spindle marks on each side. The record plays FAULTLESSLY – NO CLICKS POPS OR CRACKLES – JUST LIKE NEW. STUNNING SOUND QUALITY. The line up on this album was: Roger Chapman (vocals), John Whitney (lead guitar), Jim King (sax), Ric Grech (bass, violin, cello), Rob Townsend (drums). This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
