This is the UK 1st press of 'Music In A Dolls House' by Family. This press is complete with the original A-3G/B-3G matrix, the earliest tri-colour Reprise label and the 1st press laminated 'Patents Pending' Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve. This is a wonderful example of this rare 1st press.
The record is in rare Excellent condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves at all, there are just a couple of the lightest marks on each side. On playing the sound is rich, warm and very clear with only the lightest occasional background noise. It sounds absolutely superb. The Reprise label has bright colours and sharp black text. There is only the slightest spindle wear and a few spider marks. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. The sleeve actually has the MONO catalogue number RLP 6312. The images are sharp, the colours are bright and the black is bold. The laminate has a wonderful mirrorlike shine. There is some corner wear otherwise the edges are extremely firm. The flipbacks are completely intact and the unlaminated back is exceptionally bright and unworn. The whole cover is solid and the spine is firm with sharp text.
