This is an ultra clean copy of the 1968 U.K. first pressing of the band's first album. It has the
tri-colored "steamboat" Reprise Records label. The vinyl looks flawless and would be an easy
NM, if grading visually only. I just listened to it with the headphones on and was reminded what
a sensational record this is! I remember thinking that no one sounded like this band back in
1968 (nor since, actually). There is some surface sound. It is more prominent on side one
than on side two, and mainly noticeable coming into and out of tracks and during quieter parts.
Nothing close to a skip or a stall, but enough to warrant the VG+ grade, despite the outstanding
appearance. The cover is in excellent condition. There are a few light creases (it is the more
pliable, British cover) and only minor corner wear. There is a factory sticker on the back with
"STEREO RSLP" placed over the "Mono RLP" designation. The original poly/paper inner
sleeve is included. Please see the attached photos showing the label, cover and sleeve.

This album is from my personal collection of approximately 700 vinyl lp's, all of which I'm going
to be putting up for bids on ebay. I bought each of these records new either upon or soon after
their original release. The collection spans 18 years from the late 1960's to the mid 1980's.
They were lovingly taken care of and have been safely packed away in storage for the last
25 years. There are even a handful which are still factory sealed having never been opened.
The vinyl is almost uniformly either near mint or in the category that Goldmine calls "excellent or
VG+," as are most of the covers and inner sleeves. I'm quite sure that all still have original inner
sleeves as well as any and all photos, lyric sheets, etc. that originally came inside. I'll note what
each one includes when applicable.
