THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL SINGLE MATT SLEEVE “Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd.”
The sleeve design features neither the album title nor band name on the front, but simply a picture (by Eric Hayes) of Sandy Denny's parents, Neil & Edna Denny, standing outside the family home in Arthur Road, Wimbledon, South London, with the band distantly visible through the garden fence

Unhalfbricking is the third album by British folk rock band Fairport Convention, released in 1969.
It is seen as a transitional album in their history and marked a further musical move away from American influences towards more traditional English folk songs that had begun on their previous album, What We Did On Our Holidays and arguably reached its peak on the follow-up, Liege & Lief, released later the same year.
Featuring several (at the time unreleased) Bob Dylan songs, the album also marked Sandy Denny's maturation as a singer and songwriter, including "Who Knows Where the Time Goes?", a song covered by many other performers and now regarded as a classic.
The only traditional song on the album, "A Sailor's Life", is seen as pivotal in the development of English folk rock music.
The album also gave the band their first UK chart success, reaching number 12 in the UK (the second highest position in the band's entire career), while the single release, "Si Tu Dois Partir", achieved number 21 in the UK singles chart

Clean, fresh and unmarked labels with strong, vibrant pink colour and only a handful of light spindle traces per side
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces retain their original deep, like-new glossy sheen and are unmarked under normal light, displaying only the finest wispy hairlines under very bright light
VINYL Audio: MINT
Play-checked at loud volume the sound performance is absolutely stunning with a tremendous in-the-room immediacy - "A Sailor's Life" absolutely blew me away! This copy has clearly received only light play on a top-end sound system and the audio reproduction is flawless with no groove-wear, distortion or surface noise - the run-ins and track divisions are beautifully clean - as is the rest of the LP - a really exceptional copy
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Always a tricky cover to find in top condition being, as it is, very thin and flat and untreated but this one has held up remarkably well. There is a little storage rubbing to the edges and spine (nothing too major) but most of the spine text is still clear. The front surface is clean and unmarked and the normally ring worn back displays very little of this. Overall, a very respectable example

The original poly-lined inner sleeve is undated and apart from some age-related discolouration to the edges it is like-new with no seam splits
