FAIRPORT CONVENTION – Fairport Convention

(Very Rare UK Original MONO First Press on POLYDOR, # 582 035 from 1967)

 

 

Matrix/Stampers #s -> 582035  A V 1 420  1   / 582035  B//2 <> 420  1 (Stampers start with 1)

Label/Sleeve -> Red Polydor with MCPS written in a rectangular box. Sleeve is Laminated Both Sides and printed at Ernest J. Day Co. Ltd. London W.1.1

Grade (Cover/Vinyl)  -> VG+ / VG+

 

Description  -> Thick Rigid Vinyl is in decent condition and plays great with superb fidelity with light background crackles which is barely audible as most of the Lp rocks . There are many hairlines and few minor scuffs. I have played the entire Lp on my set up and there are NO real issues except for light crackle and odd light tick. There is name written on the labels on both sides. Overall an enjoyable play copy and extremely rare in MONO. Fully laminated Sleeve has some rub wear and laminate creasing (see picture).. All Seams Intact, No Writing. One inch laminate peel on the main spine at the center. (see PICTURE).
