Description
UK Island ILPS 9115, "Liege and Lief" by Fairport Convention. Original UK pink Island "i logo" 1st press MISLABELED as a mono pressing! There were no original UK mono pressings of this LP, but the story goes that the first few copies of this LP pressed used the old mono label design. Visually the record is in EX+ condition (many would grade Near Mint), and it plays AT LEAST that well. The cover too is lovely, with only a little bit of spine, ring- and corner wear. There are no splits, markings, bends, etc., so let's call it EX. If I didn't already have a stone mint copy of this album in my collection (stereo labels, alas!), I'd happily keep this forever. And musically...well, this is possibly the greatest British folk-rock LP of them all! A low minimum bid and no reserve on this rarity. Good luck!!!
