FAIRPORT CONVENTION

This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Liege and Lief' by Fairport Convention. This is a genuine 1st press with the original Island pink 'i' label, heavy vinyl and the very ealiest 1st press matrix. The album is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve and 1st press matt EJ Day gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a superb bright gloss with a few very light marks on both sides. The pink i Island label is completely clean. The pink is bold, the white is bright and the text is still very sharp. There is only the slightest spindle wear. On playing there is a little background noise but it does not spoil the enjoyment of this album, the sound is still extremely rich and clear. The record is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve.
The matt gatefold EJ Day sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The cover is bright, the grey is solid and the pink is vivid. There is a little edge wear and a couple of small creases by the spine. The inside is unworn. The whole gatefold is still solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
