FAIRPORT CONVENTION: LIEGE & LEIF
Beautiful 1st pressing of this seminal folk rock LP and, in my humble opinion, Fairport Convention’s finest hour. In superb condition throughout. Fully play tested and with NM audio (see below)
On the Pink Island label with A 1 / B 1 Matrices and rough textured labels.

GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
The 1ST pressing unlaminated E.J Day sleeve is in superb condition. Surfaces are bright and clean with no staining and no discolouration. There are no indentations and there is no ringwear The spine is in perfect condition being lovely and straight and true and only very light signs of the sleeve having been opened. There is some light edge wear to the top and bottom edges. The inside of the gatefold is superb being bright and clean with no wear at all.
RECORD: EX+
Under bright light the record shows a single hairline to each side. The record has been listened to in its entirety. The record plays as MINT with no surface noise whatsoever. Perfect!
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
