On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Fairport Convention called "Liege & Lief" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1969 UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A VERY HARD LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS IS ALSO A VERY 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'PINK' ISLAND LOGO, WITH A/1 B/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! THIS IS A STUNNING COPY OF THIS MEGA RARE LP!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! The Cat. No is ILPS 9115 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island Label (see picture) and is a stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Fairport Convention at their best!!!! Any fan of Fairport Convention, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a VERY few VERY LIGHT light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only a few 'bag sweat' marks only visible under light, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion.
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE LP in this sort of condition!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1969 STEREO 1ST PRESSING OF "LIEGE & LIEF" BY FAIRPORT CONVENTION, IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!

The structure, spine and inner gatefold of this album cover are still very strong. There is some extremely slight fraying around the edges. However this is hardly noticeable and the beautiful artwork on the front, back and inner gatefold still retains its original quality. This album comes with its original inner sleeve.
