JOY DIVISION: UNKNOWN PLEASURES
1st Pressing with heavily textured cover.
Has inner sleeve with squared corners rather than rounded but is 100% a first pressing.
Vinyl translucent red when held to bright light.
1st Pressing Matrix Numbers.
In superb condition throughout.

GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
The sleeve is in amazingly clean condition. The heavily textured sleeve shows no wear or damage save for some evry slight rubbing to the two corners at the opening edge. There is no ringwear or rubbing to the spine. Absolutely phenomenal. The inner has two age spots a little slight ringwear (see images).
RECORD: EX
The records show a few extremely light sleeve removal /surface marks when viewed under bright halogen light. There are no feelable or substantial scratches. Superb.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine’s system:
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

Records are always removed from sleeves.
