GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : Fabio Liberatori è stato uno dei fondatori degli Stadio e loro tastierista fino al 1985 anno in cui lasciò il gruppo per dedicarsi all'arrangiamento in studio di registrazione e alle composizioni di colonne sonore soprattutto per il suo amico Carlo Verdone. Essendo il disco sigillato e non avendo disponibile una seconda copia per il suo ascolto, non sono in grado di poter dare le mie modeste opinioni sulle musiche. Nell'elenco dei brani più in basso, riporto quanto viene sinteticamente descritto per ciascun brano nel retro copertina. Meglio che niente!

Notes : Fabio Liberatori was a founding member of the pop rock group Stadio and their keyboardist until 1985, the year in which he left the group to pursue music arrangements in the recording studio and compositions of scores especially for his friend Carlo Verdone. Being the LP sealed and not having available a second copy for its listening, I am unable to mention my humble opinions on the music. In the track list below, I report what is described synthetically for each tune on the back cover. Better than nothing!
