PMC 1230 Mono, 1964, Parlophone.

Here is an exceptional example of this classic 53 year old title... this copy looks almost as good as if you'd just walked out of the record shop back in the day after a sample playing...


The Garod & Lofthouse Ltd (Patents pending) album cover: The front is intact, sturdy and has no writing or other blemishments. It maintains most of its original glossiness. There is only minor bubbling to the spine side lamination. A small amount of foxing to the album side. Some slight color chipping to bottom edge

The colors remain rich and vibrant.

The rear of the cover is one of the cleanest I have ever seen... no dark marks/smudging of print... exceptionally clean. All foldovers are crisp and unblemished. Photos have maintained the rich darkness not often seen on this cover.


The original Emitex inner sleeve is undamaged and very clean. Creasing (due to the record outline) is minimal.


The album itself is sublime, maintaining its perfect glossiness to both sides. The heavy vinyl is crisp, amazingly clean, free of debris and fingerprints...looks almost unplayed. There are a few faint hairlines which might well polish out (Ive not tried)... apart from that it looks flawless. Spindle hole wear is almost none existant. Labels could have been printed yesterday... again, sublime condition.


I would estimate the album has been played 4 or 5 times since purchase.


I would remind all potential buyers that this is an original 1st pressing of a classic Beatles title that is over half a century old and a significant piece of music history.  The likelihood of other copies becoming available in this condition are remote... please bare this in mind when considering my asking price.
