Chorus From The Gallows is an early production from Topic Records as the catalogue number shows. 

This classic album of traditional songs and ballads is in outstanding condition with no marks whatever on the record. 

The label has the signature of the original owner. 


The sleeve, which has some marks and bumps, is remarkable for two things which I haven’t met with before. 

Firstly, and rather surprisingly for its age, it is a gatefold type and opens like a book. 

Secondly it was silk screen printed, which is a costly and time-consuming process. The artist isn’t credited.


There is also a printed insert in very good condition with introductory notes and details of the genre and all the songs.


This is certainly a collectors’ recording.
