Description
This very rare record is the original Deep Groove mono release. The mono mix is amazing! Her voice totally shines through. I've cleaned this record with a VPI vacuum cleaner, and it really makes a difference. The vacuum cleaners take out all the grime that builds up over the years and reveals a truly amazing sound. Vacuum cleaning also removes tons of pops and skips due to the deep grooves they used to have.
I just sat down and listened to this record for the first time in a while. Her vocals are fresh and powerful. They dominate the original Mono mix. The surface itself has quite a few little dings and scratches, but you only hear a few pops on a track or two. Mostly, it sounds fabulous.
Unfortunately someone drew a goatee on her! So the cover is not a showpiece by any means.
Record: A strong VG, plays mostly VG+ Cover: VG, would be VG+ if not for Goatee
