Hello!
I am starting to sell off some of my personal collection. I have 2000 records and it is just time to purge some of them.
I always try to be conservative with the condition grading. I am not an expert at such other than knowing what kind of condition I look for myself. That said, I have tried to take several pictures of the specific record to alleviate as many concerns as possible. All of my records have been kept indoors in my main listening room in a smoke free home. If you have any questions or would like specific pictures, please send me a message.

A collection of African American, a cappella prison songs. Beautiful and somewhat haunting at the same time.
Recorded by Toshi & Peter Seeger, John Lomax, Jr., Chester Bower and Fred Hellerman at Ramsey and Retrieve State Farms, Texas.
The jacket is in good condition. The front picture is in good condition. The bottom edge has a split and the spine does as well due to what looks like dryness or glue separation. The bottom left corner does have some damage. Please see the pics.
The vinyl is in very good condition or better with some surface wear.
I have to admit that this one, I am listening to one last time while creating this listing. There is some crackle, but it still sounds amazing and emotional. It starts right off with Hammer Ring, which really sets the whole feel of the record. I can hear where these songs were a great influence on artists like Harry Belafonte and Miriam Makeba. I'm pretty sure this is a mono recording.
The cover says "notes by Pete Seeger." However, there are not any notes included. Instead, there is a post card you could have sent in for "a booklet with authoritative material." I don't think you'd get anything at this point if you sent it in, but it is included and is in near mint condition.
There is also a cardboard separator in the jacket. I'm not sure why, but I am leaving it in there.
I couldn't find much information about this record, so I'm sorry I can't offer more.
I believe, but am not sure, that this is a mono pressing.
