Recorded on July 30th and July 31st, 1983 @ Kloakens Alternativa Antistudio.
Pressed in 1000 copies.
Includes an 8-page printed booklet (15 X 18 cm, not stapled, glossy paper) with lyrics and band pictures.
The band was formed in 1982 in Grums / Kil by Gröten - guitar and vocals, Brännström - bass, Pelle - drums and Hasse - vocals. This set played in Chaos Cassette Vol. 1 released in autumn 1982. During the recording of the first EP Doomsday Troops , Hasse was replaced by Micke on vocals. The EP was released in January 1984. Doomsday Troops is today a sought-after album among collectors and is today considered one of the classic Swedish crude punk discsreleased in 1982-1984. Other bands that released discs in that era are among others. Asta Kask , Anti Cimex , Mob 47 et al.
In 1984, EATER recorded its second EP Abort the System . The disc was never released, however, but two of the recorded songs can be found on the collection disc Empty Skulls Vol 2 .
At this time, the band dissolved after tremendous turbulence. The band reunited in 1985 with new members Snake on bass and Jerker on drums. Some gigs were made with this set.
In 1986 , the band reunited with Pelle once again on the drums, as one of the things to do with the band. did a European tour. The band finally disbanded in 1989 .
