Ernie Wilkins 'Top Brass' by Five Trumpets D.Byrd-Sulieman Savoy DG red RVG Top Brass featuring Five Trumpets - arranger Ernie Wilkins SAVOY MG 12044 (USA) mono red label with deep groove - on the trail-off (dead wax) has the RVG for Rudy Van Gelder Joe Wilder, Ernie Royal, Ray Copeland, Idrees Sulieman, Donald Byrd : trumpets - Hank Jones : piano - Kenny Clarke : drums - Wendell Marshall : bass Ernie Wilkins : conductor and arranger Side A : 58 Market Street - Trick of treat - Speedway - Dot's what Side B : Top brass - Willow weep for me - Imagination - It might as well be spring - The nearness of you - Taking a chance on love Visual grading : record is VG+ to EX- full lustre light wear has few light unfeelable surface marks and few wispy lines. Clean labels with some spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG+ plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has a very light occasional background noise in a few quieter parts and few light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is VG- to VG has wear to corners. Top right corner has been repaired for a short split. Front cover is clean. Bottom right side of back cover has a long strip of paper missing but all liner notes are totally readable.
