Description
Up for Auction is an original STEREO Copy of RCA LDS 6065. A record in the Soria Series.
A clean example in a somewhat worn slipcase. Original inserts present.
Overall VG++ Vinyl. Mild superficial visible wear-sleeve scuffs etc. Bright and glossy records with a lot of 'sheen'. No visible scratches. Very lightly played. A better-than-average copy.
Dead wax stamps of 5/S; 1/S; 1/S; 1/S.
I play tested the entire set all the way through on a JVC QL-Y55F turntable with a needle weight of one gram. It plays pretty cleanly throughout. All sonic imperfections listed below are minor to me, though different people have different standards. I had no difficulty with the sound quality when listening to the records.
Side 1: Minor occasional light noise. Mostly low volume 'bump' sounds here and there which might be due to the low weight of the stylus. Still, sounded good and easy to listen to.
Side 2: Mild occasional noise and occasional 'bumps'.
Side 3: Very minor 'bumps' at the beginning else very clean.
Side 4: Occasional 'bumps'.
As I said, the 'bumps and noise are very light and I found the LP easy to enjoy.
The slipcase shows more general wear including a tear to the cloth as shown. The cloth cover shows some age darkening as shown. It is still a solid example though. I would call it Very Good or maybe a bit less because of the tear.
If this goes to a US address, you will have to sign for it. If sold overseas I will not accept returns.
It will be packed in a somewhat over sized box with plenty of padding. I have bought and sold thousands of Records over the past 50 years. I have sold LPs on eBay and at SF Bay Area Record shows. I am careful about what I sell and very rarely get.
