This is Reissue from Fantasy.  Released 1972 or 1973; uncertain of exact date. 
Vinyl in VG+ condition.  Sleeve in Excellent condition. Grading by Goldmine standards.  We try to be conservative.
Vinyl has no scratches.  Some sleeve scuffs, and 1-2 other superficial markings.  Play tested.  Album plays with perhaps 2-3 minutes during which some slight surface noise can be heard during minimal passages. 
Sleeve shows some edge wear on bottom, little bit on top though less.  Worst wear at top left corner.  All in all very solid.  Please refer to all photos.  
L.P. purchased in early 1970's through music school; otherwise not readily available even through Fantasy catalog at that time.

5th LP from blind saxophonist E. Kloss who was 18 at time this was recorded.  Exciting and vibrant music.   Excellent jazz that we simply cannot bring ourselves to call 'avante garde' or even 'unconventional' simply for not following traditional 12 bar blues, or 16 or 32 bar pop standards.  Kloss borrows freely, and has a very fresh clean sound.  Superb play list, and tremendous quintet with Prestige bringing some of best they had on contract in 1960's to play with Eric.  And, they do play together! Jimmy Owens played with the group thanks to Atlantic Jazz.  One of finest albums, particularly of this vintage, to hear the guitar playing of Pat Martino (Pat 5 years older than Eric, and recorded this during same year his own first album was released).  Most enjoyable album!   
While Jazztimes sees fit to review Eric Kloss, there are no reviews of this album online.  We sell albums that we enjoy, and are partisan in this regard.  We know from people who 'woke up' to Eric's horn playing from hearing tracks from this album and others played on internet radio programs in the 2000's that his music is being heard and is very well received.  Nice to know that Eric is not forgotten.  It would be very good to see some reviews.  Our own  reaction to all of Eric's music (we own five of Eric's first 7 albums) has always been very positive.
