This is easily the ANIMALS rarest UK album release, especially in MONO, and rarely appears for sale. After the success of their first album in 1964, every subsequent LP release sold in fewer and fewer numbers, with this album representing a distinct "low" in commercial success. Nevertheless, for me, this is the ANIMALS at their best, and their offering to the Psychedelic late 60s, the ANIMALS "taking a trip" and unlike anything else they ever produced. The front-laminated 'Flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve is in strong EXCELLENT condition, deeply glossy to the front, with only a few short creases along the spine, but otherwise quite stunning, and very hard to find in this condition. The spine and edges are superb and undamaged (the white appearing in the photos is merely flash glare), and the sleeve rear beautifully clean and damage-free, with no staining and no signs of heavy use. The labels are superb, as can be seen in the scans below, with no writing or damage and must be graded NEAR MINT. The Vinyl EXCELLENT+, and is as nice as you can expect to find for such a rare album, displaying minimal surface wear/marks. Merely wispy, "sleeve-removal" type marks. A superb copy of a massive ANIMALS rarity.
