Sleeve: As new condition, sharp corners very lightest of edge pinches only.

Black and white printed inner bag advertising other releases on the PRT label. Excellent condition.

Discs has a deep glossy lustre, looks virtually as new.

On close inspection with bright light and with disc tilted there is visible a small pressing ‘bobble’ ¾ of the way through track 6 on side 2.

No spindle wear.  

The 2nd album is Episode Six – Episode Six

Sleeve says printed in USA, but white label has German writing. This copy was purchased pre loved in the States back in the early 90’s. Original price sticker stuck to one side of the label…can’t recall where Record Exchange was…

Sleeve in overall very good condition, very slightest of corner scuffs.

Mark on front sleeve where tape residue form former price label remains.

Rear a little grubby near the top of the white area below band name.

A faked compilation release of 6 Episode Six 7". On some copies you can see white faked labels (with GEMA and some made-up artist and tracks) underneath the also faked blue PYE labels. This was a trick to have them manufactured in a german pressing plant, the PYE labels were attached later by hand. Some LPs only have the white labels, some were stickered on the front sleeve advertising Roger Glover and Ian Gillan. Sleeve and labels say Made in USA which is obviously not true, the labels have 1969 as ?.

Selling on behalf of my Dad (who supplied all the info) from his personal collection, from the olden days when he collected vinyl.

I aim to use recycled packaging when possible, but rest assure that your vinyl will be well packed and protected against the trials of postal travel!

A few words about the vinyl grading.

I try to be as honest as possible, but all grades are based upon an experienced but ultimately subjective visual inspection, trying to identify and highlight obvious issues.

Back in the day whilst my Dad purchased much of the vinyl new, as he expanded his collection, (eventually running into a few thousand discs) hence many only played once, inevitably he was drawn to second hand (pre-loved) copies of certain discs, including the rarer original 1970’s issue boots.

As you will appreciate, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this or looking at the listing, the nature of many of these live/unofficial recordings meant that original production standards were not necessarily a top priority, with occasional mastering/pressing faults occurring.

Similarly with any second hand vinyl which in some cases is almost 50 years old they will potentially exhibit aural signs of having been played, sometimes a fair bit..these are not mint, new unplayed discs (unless stated).

The attraction for my Dad was either obtaining the different variations of an issue or otherwise unavailable rare recordings…its called collecting!

When playing vinyl my Dad had a Technics SL1800 turntable with Ortfon cartridge, so no thrashing and grinding on an old  fidelity UA4! (early 70’s starter bedroom lo-fi, crank it up ?).

Didn't the UK and EU sign a free-trade deal?

Yes, but the UK-EU Free Trade deal agreed on December 24th 2020 means that duties will not be payable on the vast majority of goods moving between the UK and EU. However, duties and VAT are different things, and this does not impact on the VAT measures detailed above.
