Description
Issued by ECM in 2009 and now out of print, this gatefold double LP issue heralded the famous label's triumphant return to vinyl after many years of CD-only releases. 'New York Days' features Italian trumpeter Enrico Rava's new transatlantic quintet with fellow countryman Stefano Bollani on piano and three American jazz stars, saxophonist Mark Turner, bassist Larry Grenadier and the late great Paul Motian on drums. It was recorded at New York's Avatar studios and produced (of course) by ECM's Manfred Eicher. Manufactured by Celebrate in Germany, the vinyl issue was described as a '180g Audiophile High Quality Pressing'. This is a new and sealed copy, unopened and unplayed, although the shrink wrap has begun to split as can be seen in the pictures. PLEASE NOTE shipping to UK only.
