Enrico Mainardi, Bach Cello Suites no 3 & 4 Archiv APM 14044 b 
The LP is only in good condition. There is quite a lot of static and pops/ticks, but the recorded sound quality remains good. There is however one quite long repetitive tick towards the end of side one. The cover is in good condition. Some marks (writing can be seen in the photo) and age related wear and tear. Like the Johanna Martzy records which are also up for sale, this record suffers from a lot of static and pops/ticks, but despite that the recorded sound is good and still enjoyable to listen to. Again, I imagine that were it to be cleaned professionally it would improve considerably.
I don't know many recordings from this cellist, but I thoroughly enjoyed discovering his playing a bit more with this record. As far as I understand the recording dates from 1954!
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. There are some gems in the collection which I will post for auction soon. I do no grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
