Elyse 2005 Reissue of her 1968 LP features Neil Young on "Houses". Perfect vinyl & jacket. Jacket is actually stunning - silkscreen stye with detail & vivid colors. The picture can do it no justice - very worthy of framing as art. I don't know how "legit" this is - i had read that this was done from a vinyl transfer - you can actually hear the needle drop at the beginning of the record. Maybe the original tapes from '68 were lost/damaged. It does however include the duet with Neil Young which is not on the original LP.
This is something I picked up off the web with some background:

Elyse Weinberg -

The Holy Grail. That's how Andrew Rieger of Elf Power described the moment in 1999 when he first listened to Elyse's long forgotten 1968 self-titled release. Back in the late '60's, the album received quite a bit of attention - so much so that Elyse appeared on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show, in Newsweek and the L.A. Free Press, and at Shaffer Music Festival in NYC. She continued to write and record for Asylum Records. Cut to 30 years later when Rieger fell so much in love with her debut album that he contacted Elyse (now going by the name Cori Bishop and living in Ashland, Ore.) The rest is history - Orange Twin rereleased the self-titled debut, along with two other of her songs from that era, one of which, "Houses," features Neil Young wielding his distinctively ripping guitar sound. Since, Elyse's story has become something of a rock legend - after the rerelease her album received massive amount of positive feedback in the press, and she was mentioned in Magnet, Time Out NY, Aquarium Drunkard, Creative Loafing (amongst others). Perhaps the most flattering result was two extremely successful indie bands, Vetiver and Dinosaur Jr. decided to cover "Houses" in the aftermath of the release.

In regard to my feedback rating, I have not sold on Ebay in a year, the last person I sold to gave a negative feedback on a brand new sealed item and refused any communication afterwards when I offered a full refund. When I asked for a revised rating pointing out that the individual habitually gave negative feedback, Ebay denied the revision. Taking out that 1 outlier, my real rating is 100% on over 1300 transactions, but Ebay only considers the last year. This incident was quite disappointing to me, so I gave up selling for some time. I am looking to rebuild my rating by listing some rare & high quality items, and would appreciate your business. This item is 100% satisfaction guaranteed - no questions asked.
