Description

This Elvis Presley Sample 45 #223 was given to my mother by a WLW/WCPO Disc Jockey in Cincinnati Ohio during the late 1950's. It is a promotional copy that was distributed to radio stations in the United States and is very rare. The record is stamped Sample in Red through the SUN letters and is more pronounced on the A side. The A side is Mystery Train U-156 and the B side is Forgot To Remember To Forget U-157. The record's condition is good as it has been on display under protective glass framing for 50 years. There is no jacket or sleeve. Sun 45-U-156 and Sun 45-U-157 are listed in the dead wax and at 1/2 inch from these notations are the number "20."  Please feel free to direct further questions via this forum.
