RAREST OF THE RARE, SPEEDWAY MONO SEALED!
"Burning Love Records"
Item: "Speedway Monaural" Still Sealed
Catalog #: LPM-3989
Condition Check: Still SEALED and Perfect
Date of Issue: 1968
Special Note: I offered this record about a month ago and there was inappropriate bidders on this album from overseas so the auction was deemed invalid. The winning bidder had somehow stolen access to someones account. I have worked with Ebay and I have eliminated their ability to bid so this auction hopefully should come off clean. So if you were interested a month ago, this will be one more opportunity to win argueably the rarest Elvis record in the world today. In order to eliminate inappropriate bidding, I have strengthend the restrictions and placed a minimum bid below book value, and that book value was for mint, THIS ONE IS SEALED!
Today's Auctions: Only once every so often does an offer likee this come along. I was lucky enough to buy a collection of SEALED albums from a gentleman that bought all Elvis records in twos, one he played, one he left sealed. I have sold most of these sealed albums over the past several months, but I was holding this best one for last. This is the incredible album, "Speedway" in its orignial MONAURAL format. He told me that he had to order this one from RCA through his record store as this one was not sent out to the stores, as the Monuaral fomat was being discontinued. This is one of the rarest Elvis records i n the world today, and to find it perfect and still sealed, well, this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Closer Look At the Item: This is the biggy, sits at the very top of the Elvis collector market, the rarest Elvis album in existance. Best of all this LP is perfect, was special ordered by a gentleman back in 1968 and went into storage as soon as he got it. He stated he always bought each Elvis item as they were released in both formats, however, when "Speedway" only showed up at his record store in Stereo, he had the store owner call RCA and he was able to order this special from RCA. No one really knows how many "Speedway" Mono's were made, but it is clear that it was not many. In 30 years of being involved in the Elvis market I have seen less than one handful, and NEVER one like this. Folks it simply gets no better than this incredible record. Everything here is pristine, the cover, the sticker, inside of course will be a perfect record and a perfect bonus photo! The Book value from nearly 5 years ago was $4,075 for a mint copy, THIS IS A PERFECT SEALED ORIGINAL LP!!! I was stunned when I say this one! If you collect for both collectability and value, well you have just found probably what amounts to a one and only. Pure Perfection!!!!
Note on Packaging: All items are in shipped in mylar resealable sleeves, the finest in the industry today. Also the records are not packaged inside the original sleeves, instead packaged separately in a generic sleeve so no damage to the sleeve occurs in transit.

Rating Guide:
Mint (M): Perfect in every way, looks to have never been played, should have that look just as it did when you pulled the record from the new cover at the time of original purchase.
Mint Minus (M-): A nearly perfect record and cover. This item should show no readily visible signs of wear, covers and sleeves should have no more than nearly invisible rings or other signs of slight wear and vinyl should still be completely glossy and shiney, just the very lightest hint of wear if it is tilted to very bright light.
Very Good Plus (VG+): This record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled carefully by the previous owner. Record surfaces will show some light signs of paper scuffing or light scratches, that don't affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect sound are OK. This disc should still contain much of its original luster and sheen. The covers and picture sleeves should also be in very nice shape, they may have light ring wear or other signs of wear, may have a small cut out hole, indention or stamping present. Also there can be non obvious writing on the paper goods.
Very Good (VG): Many of the defects found in the VG+ record and cover will be present but more pronounced in the VG item. Surface noise will be evident, although the record should play through without skipping or repeating. Groove wear will now be noticable, scuffing and light scratching will be appearent, a scratch now can be felt with a fingernail. Labels will be marred with tape or tape residue, stickers or descret writing. The same will be true for the LP cover or picture sleeve.
Good (G): Good does not mean bad! A record in good condition should be placed on a turntable and it should play through, all though the surface noise will be evident. A cover or picture sleeve will have seam splitting, especially on the bottom seam or spine. Also there will be noticable ring wear caused by the presence of the record. The defects will start to overwhere this item.
Fair (F) or Poor (P): This record will be cracked, badly warped, and will not play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeeve or LP cover will show lots and lots of wear, the seams will be split on all three sides barely able to hold the record. This item will appear near valueless, unless of course it is a rarity that may not be seen again.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
