Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.
The record itself (47-6643 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are a few marks/scratches, but nothing too deep or drastic though (see photos).
The labels are quite clean and bright and have NO WRITING, however there is a small numbered sticker on one side(see photos)
This is the RARER issue WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV GOLD WRITING UK issue!)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $80-85 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- )for the sleeve alone!!!
THIS IS 1 OF THE 4 SLEEVES ISSUED!!
This sleeve is over 54 years old and there are very few signs of ageing.
There are NO SPLITS,RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!!!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some wear to the top right corner where a label has been removed and a stain on the rear(see photos)
The ORIGINAL shop price stamp is on the front at the lower right part of the sleeve.(89c)
Overall this was valued at about $110(£73) back in 2008.
I will start this at way under HALF of that!!
THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £100+ COPY COMES ALONG!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
