Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Hound Dog / Don't Be Cruel released in the USA.

The record itself (47-6604 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen .

There are a few light marks/scratches(nothing too deep or drastic).

The labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!!!(see photos)

This is the RARER issue WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE.

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $65 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT-  )for the sleeve alone!!!

Although this sleeve is 53 years old there are NO SPLITS,TEARS or WRITING!!!!!

THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTY!!!!!.

This was the 1st picture sleeve issued for an Elvis release and has 2 GREAT photos (see photos) 

THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST CONITIONED SLEEVES OF THIS RELEASE I HAVE EVER HAD FOR SALE IN 7 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!!!

There is a small rip to the back opener, but it takes nothing away from the overall quality!!

Overall this was valued at about $100(£65) back in 2008 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £70.

I will start this at way under half of that!!

This, as with ALL of my picture sleeve releases comes housed in a separate paper sleeve containing the record and a protective poly sleeve to help prevent ny further future wear!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
