In June of 1977 Elvis Presley arranged to have one of his concerts recorded and broadcast on CBS network television. The show was also recorded to be released as a live album, the first in many years. The show was not broadcast, and the album was not released, until after Elvis' death on August 16, 1977. Added to the show was an emotional thank you from Vernon Presley, Elvis' father, for all the cards and letters received by the family since Elvis' death. The album was stretched to a double LP with the addition of tracks gleaned from the entire final tour, including songs such as 'O Solo Mio/It's Now or Never', 'I Got A Woman', 'Trying To Get To You', 'Little Sister', and 'And I Love You So'. A powerful send off from the King, and his final farewell before the end.  Double LP is housed in stunning gatefold picture jacket in excellent condition. Both vinyl LP’s are in excellent condition – RCA Tan label issue (APL2-2587).

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
