Dropped £50 as not as good as I remembered!
Elvis Presley.
Rock 'n' roll No 2.
HMV CLP 1105.
Original HMV LP from 1956.
Plays through with no problems and sounds really good, surprisingly.
I would grade it as looking VG- (has lots of scratches and marks) and playing VG (overall), amazingly (EX- in places but VG- also). Crackles inbetween tracks mainly but maybe a proper clean would improve the sound (not that it really needs it). I enjoyed playing it and thought it sounded great, personally.
It has 1 small skip at the beginning of When my blue Moon turns to gold again (1st side, 3rd song) and another on the same song. Also, lots of crackle on the 2nd last song (First in line) on Side A.
B side sounds better although lots of crackle on Old Shep.
The sleeve is "half decent" but it is missing some of the front (as seen on the pictures) and has a long split/rip/tear at the bottom which is a shame but probably easily fixable by some clever person.

Plays VG- overall. Has lots of crackle but still sounds pretty darned good (in places)!
I'm sure a good, proper clean would work wonders.
Jumped a couple of times on tracks 1 and 2 on Side 2 which was a shame as the rest of it sounds VG.
Sleeve is pretty decent except for the bottom right front as seen in the pics (pity) which is pretty awful and it has small splits on the sides but still......better than a lot I've seen.
No inner sleeve.
Now the "extra" that I will play and grade in the next hour or so, hopefully, if I get time. If not, no worries, it's a "freebie". I may add another too if BIN used.
Let's face it though, these are fillers when it comes down to it (at the moment and until somebody cleans them properly).
