Sun Record 209

The first official recording of

 Elvis Presley

I have sold 8 Elvis Presley SUN records since 1977.

This is my final one. I saved the best for last.

This is by far the highest quality 1950's SUN record I have ever seen.

This is the Holy Grail of records for the serious collector of Elvis or music recordings.

This is not a fake or reproduction. The push marks are there (see photos).

Guaranteed to be an original, near mint quality SUN RECORD #209

"That's All Right Mama"    "Blue Moon of Kentucky"

This record has been in my family since the mid 1950's.

I have owned it since May 25, 1973. Since 1973 it has been played less than 10 times.

(US Only).

If desired, insurance (highly recommended) must be paid by the winner of this historic record.

NOTE

  Providence

The 45 SUN record was presented to my mother by my father just before I was born when we lived in near Nashville, Tennessee in 1955.

My parents were original big Elvis fans.  I was the President of the Texas Chapter of the Elvis Presley Fan Club from 1972-1979 and fortunate enough to meet and talk with Elvis twice.  Once at Graceland, with his girlfriend Linda Thompson, and cousin (Graceland Security Guard Harold Lloyd). The second time was backstage at an August 1976 concert in San Antonio. I also had front row center seats to that concert.

I was given this record, as part of my high school graduation, in 1973.

I treasured it and played it only a few times. Perhaps I would take it out of it's special locked and humidity controlled secured location six or seven times to play it.

It has not been played more than ten times since 1973.   There are no scratches or pops of note. Just your normal SUN studios hiss sound. No warping.

Note: Added two photos of flip side: Blue Moon of Kentucky to show condition. It is in good condition. Note a very small scrap on bottom left. There is no writing, tape, stickies, etc. on either side of the record.

This is a once in a life time opportunity to own an original high quality SUN #209 Elvis Presley 45 record.
