Description

Elvis Presley RCA LPM-1382 original 1956 pressing with alternate take of Old Shep. This is a TRUE original mono '56 lp which contains the following information, 19S is stamped in the trail off on side two , and contains the lyrics " as the years fast did roll, Old Shep he grew old and his eyes were fast growing dim" And also "he came to my side and he looked up at me , and he laid his old head on my knee". This information indicates this record is unlike most '56 pressings of this lp. Lp cover has catalog # in upper right hand corner and BLACK label has "long play" at bottom. Jacket is VG++, with nice square corners AND color . There is some creasing on the upper and lower left side of the jacket's front and some wrinkling on the spine . NO seam splits,water damage or fading . Cover still holds it's BRILLIANT color and sheen. I HAVE PLAY GRADED this lp with a Ortofon OMP-20 cartridge and Technics SLQ-300 turntable powered by a Marantz 2226B receiver all pushed through a pair of Acoustic Research AR12 speakers. The lp played through EXCELLENT with NO distortion , cracks or pops ! Label and vinyl VG++ also , when held to the light vinyl still has some of it's original rainbow sheen . Lp also comes with original RCA inner sleeve . Please see pic's.
