Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 Gold Standard Series single Wooden Heart / Blue Christmas released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0720 Dog On Top )is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are quite a few visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)
The labels have some non sticky label residue on one side and writing on both which is visible but blends into the dark background.(see photos)
The matrix numbers are L2PW-3681-1S and H2PW-5525-2S
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in VERY GOOD condition.
This sleeve is over 48 years old and has NO SEAM SPLITS, RIPS or TEARS(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks/creases and a name written on the Wooden Heart side(see photos)
There is a stamp on the Blue Christmas side.(see photos)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND and will make an adequate affordable collecetion filler until that mint $75 sleeve comes along!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $50+(£33) , so i guess it must now be at least £35.
