Description

This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 EP Elvis Presley release HEARTBREAK HOTEL  released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA-821 dog on top) is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep though)

The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and  have NO WRITING but do have a label ripple from where a label has been removed(see photos)

This is also the RARER issue WITH SILVER LINE!

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $40 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is ONLY in VERY GOOD-) for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is over 58 years old and has quite a few flaws(hence the lower starting price)

There are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!(see photos)

The only things that stop this from grading higher is some pieces missing from the bottom part of the slick, partial seam splits and slight age discolouration(see photos)

That all said this is a nice affordable sleeve until that Mint $95 sleeve comes along!

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $60(£38 approx) .

I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £40.

THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!
